Connecting Cellphones/Personal Devices to HSE-GUEST
This article explains how to connect to the Wi-Fi network ‘HSE-GUEST’ for personal devices such as android, iPhone, Chromebooks, etc.
Starting 07.24.26, "HSE-CORP" will be restricted to HSE-managed devices only. Personal devices, including cellphones, will no longer be able to connect to this network — please use "HSE-GUEST" instead.
Select "HSE-Guest" from your device's Wi-Fi settings.
Open your device's web browser.
If the HSE Guest Portal landing page doesn't automatically appear, try typing in a web address, such as www.apple.com. Or navigate to https://cppm1.hse.k12.in.us/guest/guest_landing.php
If you see a "This Connection is Not Private" warning, click “Show details> Visit this website."
You may need to refresh your page again for the portal to load.
Once the HSE Guest Portal landing page appears, select "Students and Staff Members" if that applies to you.
You'll be redirected to Microsoft's login page — enter your full HSE email address and password.
If successful, you'll see a login countdown.
Once connected, you'll be redirected to hseschools.org homepage
HSE-GUEST will hold the credentials for 7 days. If you are off the network for more than 7 days or receive a new device - you will be prompted to sign in again.

BYOD devices (not cellphones) will still need the lightspeed cert as they did before if wanting to use sites like Amazon or Google.
Troubleshooting Steps
I am unable to view the HSE Guest Portal:
If the captive portal does not come up, navigate to https://cppm1.hse.k12.in.us/guest/guest_landing.php
I still cannot connect:
The first time you connect, if it still says no internet, but you are connected to HSE-GUEST - toggle the Wi-Fi off and on to force a reconnect.
Access your device’s Wi-Fi settings and “Forget” “HSE-CORP” or any HSE network you are not currently trying to connect to.
