This document outlines the currently supported software applications and hardware devices for Teleprompters and 3D printers within the district. This list is not exhaustive and is intended to give an outline for staff members using more specialized software and equipment for Labs, Media Centers, or Studios.

3D Printers
The district supports several slicing applications for preparing 3D print files. Please review the list below and the supported major brands of 3D printers for each slicing application.
Approved Slicer Software & Compatibility
1. UltiMaker Cura
Supported Printers:
UltiMaker (all models)
Creality (Ender series, CR series)
Anycubic (i3 Mega, Kobra, Photon series with plugins)
Artillery Sidewinder and Genius
LulzBot TAZ and Mini
Cura is the most widely compatible slicer and works with a variety of third-party printers. It is HSE’s first recommendation for slicing software
2. PrusaSlicer
Supported Printers:
Prusa (MK3, MK4, MINI, SL1)
Creality Ender & CR series
Voron printers
Notes:
Optimized for Prusa hardware but versatile with additional profiles.
3. OrcaSlicer
Supported Printers:
Bambu Lab printers (X1, P1, A1 series)
Prusa MK3/MK4, MINI
Creality Ender series
Voron printers
Notes:
Designed to work seamlessly with Bambu Lab printers but supports others.
Teleprompters
Depending on the hardware available in Media Studios, HSE supports the following teleprompters.
Neewer Teleprompter for iPad
Recommended for classroom presentations, media production, and public speaking practice.
Elgato Teleprompter
Supported when paired with Elgato Camera Hub software on macOS devices.
Enables seamless integration with cameras and streaming tools used in classroom media labs.
