This article explains how to connect to the Wi-Fi network ‘HSE-CORP’ for Android devices, including Chromebooks. Most Android devices require additional configuration to function with our Wi-Fi compared to Apple and Windows devices.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Instructions

Each device’s settings screens will look somewhat different. Please use the following information to fill in your device’s required fields as best as possible. For further assistant, contact your building tech(s).

  1. Select the network ‘HSE-CORP’ within your device’s Wi-Fi settings.

  2. For primary authentication, select ‘PEAP.’

  3. For secondary authentication, select ‘automatic.' If this is not available or does not work, select ‘MSCHAPV2.’

  4. For identity, this is your HSE-provided username (the first part of your email address)

  5. For password, use your HSE account password.

  6. For anonymous identity, leave blank.

  7. Some devices may ask for the following:

    1. CA Certificates - select ‘use system certificates’

    2. For domain, enter ‘cpradius.hse.k12.in.us’

  8. After all of the above settings have been entered and verified, choose the option to connect to the network.

  9. If prompted, select ‘do not validate certificate' upon connection.

It is common with Android devices to receive a message saying ‘connected, but no internet.’ This is to be expected and typically does not mean what it says--the device will function normally on the internet at this point.
