Accessing HSE Email

This article explains how to access HSE email accounts.

Anyone with an HSE-issued account can access their email online, through any web browser by using Microsoft 365 (formerly known as Office 365). Log in at www.office.com/login, and choose Outlook to access email. The following methods are for app-specific access.

 Instructions for desktop and laptop computers

  • All HSE-issued computers (desktops and laptops, Windows or Mac) will include the Outlook desktop email client. We do not recommend using the built-in email apps for either Windows or Mac devices.

  • When launching the program for the first time, sign-in will be required.

 Instructions for mobile devices

HSE email accounts can be accessed using the Outlook app, published by Microsoft, which is available in the App Store for iPhones and other Apple devices or Play Store for Android devices. HSE Technology does not support configurations using other email apps. The following steps will help you get email set up on your phone:

  1. Download the Outlook app using either the App Store for iPhones or the Play Store for Android. This may involve an Apple ID to use the App Store, or a Google account to use the Play Store. HSE Technology cannot support these accounts, including password resets.

  2. Once downloaded, launch the app, and follow the on-screen prompts to add a new mail account. Type your HSE email address, and you will then be prompted to log into your account.

  3. Upon successful login, your emails will be visible shortly after an initial synchronization period.
